PAYMENT AND SECURITY
 
How can I pay for my goods?
 
You can purchase your goods from Panther Online using Visa, Mastercard, Amex,Switch or Delta credit and debit cards.

The security of your purchases is protected by use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts all of your personal data including debit and credit card number, name and address.
 
 
What information do you collect and why?
 
When you place an order with Panther Online, we need to know your name, e-mail address, home address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, your home and work telephone numbers.

This enables us to authorise your credit or debit card payments, process and fulfil your orders and to contact you to make delivery arrangements.

Credit card information is used on a once-off basis for each purchase and is not retained.
If you have authorised us to do so, we may contact you by email to advise you of special offers and promotions. If you are receiving these emails and would like not to receive any more, email unsubscribe@pantheronline.co.uk.
 
 
Do you disclose this information to anybody else?
 
The information we collect is entirely for our own use.

DELIVERY
 
When will you deliver and how will I know?
 
We offer daytime, evening and Saturday delivery on most products and in most areas of mainland UK.
Most stock orders for home entertainment products are delivered within 3-4 working days from receipt of your payment.
Unlike other suppliers, Panther Online keeps many domestic appliances in stock and is normally able to deliver within a similar period, although some may be delivered directly by the manufacturers at the next available slot in their home delivery schedules, which can sometimes take up to 7 working days.

With the exception of heavy items delivered in London and within the M25 (see below), we can not normally guarantee delivery on any particular day of the week unless you specify Saturday delivery and then we need your order by 8 AM on the preceding Thursday

After your order has been placed, we will normally either contact you by phone or email to let you know the delivery arrangements or email you parcel tracking information for your goods. Using the courier’s website, this will enable you to verify the ship date from Panther and delivery to you is normally be the next working day after we ship. Parcel tracking information will assist you to trace your item using the carrier’s website or phone call to the local depot. (You can normally get the details from the carrier’s website).

Please note that if you are unable to receive your goods on the day they are delivered, it may be necessary to collect them from the local courier company depot.

Heavy items such as large TVs and domestic appliances delivered to London and within the M25 are normally delivered on Wednesdays or Saturdays. For these items (for delivery within the M25) we will call or email you to confirm the date for delivery.
 
 
Where will you deliver?
 
We can deliver throughout the mainland UK, except in some areas classified by our couriers as high risk areas.

As it is not possible to specify a precise delivery time, if you cannot be sure somebody will be at home to receive your goods, we recommend delivery to your place of work, if goods can be accepted there for you. (Naturally, this may not be appropriate for heavy items that you may not be able to transport home).

Delivery is subject to suitable access and to the availability of someone to receive and sign for the goods.

We and our couriers will do our best to accommodate you. If you live in a 6th floor flat and the lift isn’t working, we will probably not be able to deliver a heavy TV or domestic appliance.
 
 
Nobody’s at home during the day. Can you deliver to my office?
 
The short answer is YES so long as the goods can be received at the address you specify, and we recommend this (see above).

Remember to specify the delivery address when you place your order.
 
 
I am planning to purchase and would like Saturday delivery. When is the latest that I can order to ensure delivery on Saturday?
 
You need to place your order before 8 AM on the preceding Thursday morning.
 
 
What can I do if there is nobody to accept delivery of the item(s) on the delivery date?
 
Under "standard delivery", when the delivery cost is under £10, our carrier will make just one attempt at delivery. If there is nobody to receive the product, it will normally then be necessary to collect it from your local depot. However, we will normally give you a tracking number for these items and you can then call the local depot, quoting the tracking number, to request another delivery date.

In most other cases, the carrier will make a second attempt to deliver your product. Deliveries of heavy goods within the M25 is on an agreed day or a day that has been advised to you. If you are unable to receive the goods on the specified day, you must advise us by midday on the day before the advised date to service@pantheronline.co.uk or you may be charged a second delivery charge.
 
 
AFTER SALE / SERVICE ISSUES
 
What happens if I change my mind?
 

If you don’t want to keep a product, you have purchased from Panther Online, you can return it within 7 days of receipt of the goods.  You will be responsible for ensuring that it remains in as new condition until its return to us and will have to bear the cost of its return to us, which may be substantially higher than the delivery cost.

It must be returned in pristine condition as new, complete with all accessories and any bundled items in similar as new condition, and software must remain sealed.  A refund is only payable once it is received and the contents are checked.  Panther reserves the right to refuse a refund in part or in full if it is not complete or otherwise not in as new condition.  This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
 
If I have a problem, can I get help from the manufacturer?
 
If you have a question either about the features or capabilities of a product or have a problem with a product you have purchased, you can get specialised help by calling the manufacturer’s helpline
 
 
What after sales service do you offer?
 
All products supplied by Panther Online are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for a minimum of 12 months.

If you would like extended cover beyond the manufacturer’s warranty, including protection against accident damage and new for old replacement when beyond economical repair, you can take out a Repair Protection Plan. You can check the price by looking on the Product Page for the item you have purchased or a similar item of close to the same price. To purchase a plan for an item you have already purchased, email service@pantheronline.co.uk

If you experience a problem, you could save a lot of time and worry by checking the plug, fuse, batteries and the manufacturer's operating instructions.

If that doesn’t solve the problem, try contacting the manufacturer’s helpline, for specialised product assistance.

If you’re still stuck, email service@pantheronline.co.uk, quoting model number, invoice number and purchase date and details of the problem, and we’ll do our best to sort it out for you.
 
 
OTHER ISSUES
 
Can I get warranty for more than 12 months?
 
Yes, we can cover your equipment for up to 5 years from date of purchase, not only against breakdown, but against accidental damage as well with our very reasonable Repair Protection Plan.

Even after that, you can renew your plan until, when it can not be repaired, the product will be replaced with a new one. How about that!

This service is provided by Domestic and General Services plc who are leaders in domestic appliance breakdown cover.
 
 
What do I do should I have a complaint?
 
First, you should contact service@pantheronline.co.uk.

If you not satisfied with the response, or you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, please contact the Panther Online sales manager by emailing manager@pantheronline.co.uk

He will respond to your e-mail within 2 working days and will do what he can to put the matter right for you.
